Fresh from Paris Design Week! Ashlea, Kim, Milly and Richard have just returned from the @maisonetobjet fair - one of the world's most influential design fairs bringing more than 2000 brands and crafts under one roof!
It was a fantastic few days exploring new materials, textures and designs, and was a strong way to start the year with fresh perspective and new ideas for upcoming projects. We’re also incredibly excited for the new collections and products to arrive, ready to enhance our award-winning showrooms!

A table of materials that would later become furniture, accessories and curtains! All laid out, tested, questioned and refined until a story began to emerge. ✔️

This project was about making better use of what was already there…

Through layered textures, considered materials and careful space planning, the home was rebalanced to feel warmer, calmer and more intentional. The kitchen was re-planned for better flow and storage, an intimate dining space was carved out, and the garden room was elevated.
The result is a home that feels larger and more composed, not by adding space, but by using it better!

You might remember us sharing Ashlea, Ben & Richard discussing this exciting cloakroom project, and we can now share the results.
The brief was clear: a little unexpected theatre in the downstairs cloakroom. 💥
In a home that’s beautifully neutral throughout, this is the moment of contrast with deep, tailored panelling setting the tone, and a statement scenic wallpaper that turns a small room into an experience the second you open the door. We finished it with warm, sculptural wall lighting to give the space that soft glow, and aged brass details to add a quiet, confident richness.
Small in size, but absolutely a talking point!

A kitchen island only works if it works hard!
These stools were designed bespoke for this home, with one request from the client: they had to swivel. So we built that in, properly, turning the island into a space that’s easy to use, easy to move around, and genuinely comfortable to live with!
The fabric does the quieter job: it bridges the dining room palette on one side, then picks up the tones from the garden room on the other, so the whole open-plan space feels connected, without everything matching. 🤍

The dining room was a pivotal part of our recent Harrogate project completion…
What was once part of the large, open space connecting to the kitchen and onto the garden room has been thoughtfully enclosed to create a place to slow down, dine, and feel a little removed from the main hub of the home. 🤩
