My career in accounts began a few years ago as a side line to my own horse riding and training business, where I supported the family business accounts and also worked for a local book keeper whilst studying for my AAT. I unfortunately had an accident last year which meant I had to stop riding professionally so decided to go into accountancy full time and worked as a finance assistant, before starting my current role at Richard Grafton Interiors.
I love the Richard Grafton Interiors brand and the products but what really appealed to me was the room for growth and experience that this role offered. It’s difficult to work in the beautiful surroundings of our showroom without having a passion for interiors and the team are constantly sharing ideas, discussing plans and creating schemes which creates a real buzz. I love the classic country style with a homely feel, as this reflects my agricultural upbringing and our beautiful Yorkshire backdrop.
